Doug (April 2003)

He has been a software engineer, technologist, and writer with MAPINC and DrugSense since September, 2001. Doug developed and implemented the MAPINC Media Contact Database by merging several large media and source contact databases into a tool for drug policy activists to produce targeted mailing, fax and e-mail lists.

He also designed and implemented Bot! http://drugpolicycentral.com/bot/, a news bot which continuously spiders news sites for the very latest raw breaking drug-related news.

Currently Doug is working on several web design and database projects and writes the international section of the Drugsense Weekly newsletter.

He is also author of the book "Drug War Propaganda," a 100,000 word expose of media manipulation.
