The Drug Policy Forum of Wisconsin blogspot comes to you as an outgrowth of the DPFWI listserve, which began in late 1998 to share news and discuss strategies for easing prohibition in Wisconsin.

Now, 8 and a half years later, we are taking DPFWI to a new level with a blog offering a selection of views on the intersection of drug policy and other issues, like politics, privacy, free speech, the internet, etc.

Joining me in this endeavor will be Ben and Dave. As each of our interests and focus center on different aspects of this large issue, there should be plenty of interesting viewpoints shared.

As always, thanks to DrugSense/Media Awareness Project for hosting this endeavor.

I look forward to contributing to this effort. Wisconsin should be taking it’s place at the forefront of progressive states instituting various drug law reforms and this blogspot will give us all a way to meet and interact in ways a listserve couldn’t.
I’m familiarizing myself with Wordpress and hope to be posting tonite! (Wednesday)
