Addicts fish too!

Addicts are people too. Just like you except we have a disease, syndrome, whatever you may call it against which we are occasionally powerless. I’m clean and sober over 20 years now (thanks to methadone” and you’d never peg me for someone with this curse. So, next time you read some sensationalist Drug War story or see one on TV, please remember, we are people too, with families, homes, hobbies, prsuits and all the rest. And when you consider addicts who’s disease is getting the better of them remember that, given time and proper treatment (that means “maintenance-treatment of one kind or another) their lives can settle out and they don’t have to die or, worse, go to prison.

Well, try as I may, I can’t get the picture up with or without the post. These blogsites drive me nuts. Aargh!
