Wisconsinites For Safe Access

Wisconsinites For Safe Access is an "umbrella group" for the coalition of activists and organizations that have joined Wisconsin protests against DEA attacks on medicinal cannabis providers and patients in California and other states and localities that have legalized the medicinal use of cannabis. So far in 2002, there have been 3 protests in Madison against DEA raids. 

The week of Feb. 15-22 has been declared medical marijuana week by Americans for Safe Access. Events include a nationwide protest at noon local time at DEA offices and federal buildings across the U.S. on Tuesday Feb. 18. An event is being planned for Madison. More info will be posted as it develops.
